As we start a brand new year, maybe a little re-evaluation of where you are and where you want to go in the future is appropriate. It’s never too late to find something more rewarding to do. And taking a good look at where you are now may help you come up with a great idea for the future – even if you stay in your current career.

Here’s My Story

I spent most of my career as a high school English teacher. I loved it for a long, long time. It was an amazingly rewarding career, but I always wanted to do something different at some point – maybe just to see if I could. (I used to think I couldn’t really do anything else.)

It’s funny, but even the years I spent away from actual teaching, every career change I made was linked in some way to education. I am a firm believer that you can take your background and what you are passionate about and do other things that you will also find very rewarding.
