Backing Up Your Work – A Smart Move
I am writing this article today as much for myself as the rest of you. Mainly because I think I am just like most everyone whose work depends on technology.
In the back of my mind, I know I need to back up my work in case something goes wrong, but more often than not, I push backing up my work to the bottom of my to do list.
Those in the workplace often have a server which automatically does backup each day, so that’s a big advantage. But even while you’re working on a document it’s a smart practice to go ahead and save your file in a place where you can actually find it again.
As a student in the online classroom, it is important that you don’t lose the hard work you do on assignments. Especially if you have a project you’re working on for weeks to turn in at a later date.
Doing an occasional backup on a disc or a jump drive can save a ton of frustration and give you the assurance that the precious time you spend completing an assignment for work or school will not be done in vain. I think I’ll do a little back up right now. I have my jump drive in my hand
