Details, Details, Details

I used to work in an environment that required me to travel quite often to oversee filming of lectures for a distance education program. I was in charge of making sure that things ran smoothly for the presenters who came in from all over the country to film the lectures and the video crew as well. So this required my dealing with various people in the hospitality industry to get things lined up in advance and seeing to a wide array of details from large to small.

Customer Service is the Key

My appreciation for those in the hospitality business who deal with this kind of situation on a daily basis increased to a much higher degree and made me realize that it takes a certain kind of person to deal with it on a daily basis. I found that many of these people are exceptionally capable and willing to provide superb customer service.
