TeacherSpring Break is happening this week for some parts of the nation’s schools and colleges, but for many spring break has come and gone.

As a former high school teacher, I know exactly what this means – school is just about over! My colleagues and I used to talk about how things went downhill after spring break because the students had done just about all they were planning to do for the year, though we had to keep plugging away each day until the final day of school.

Online Education Allows Teachers the Freedom to Work Part Time and Work on a Masters Degree

As a teacher, it’s time to start planning what you’re going to do with the summer months. For many teachers, it means starting the search for a part-time job, for others the summer months mean taking the opportunity to further their education and work toward a higher degree or earning a certification. Here’s a novel idea – why not look for that part-time work and take an online course at the same time?

With the flexibility of online degrees, it’s possible to work out your schedule so you can pack more into those summer months and be incredibly productive with your time. If you want to take a vacation, your classes can go with you.
