You need to read your syllabus! Even if you don’t read every detail up front, at least read through the whole thing noting important information to help you get off to a good start. Then at the beginning of each week carefully read the information pertinent to the week as you go through the course. Oh, and don’t forget to check the main forum for additional messages from your instructor! More about that later.

Reading Directions and Following Instructions Can Point the Way to Success

What is it that makes a person not want to follow directions? Are we in too big a hurry to take five minutes to read directions before we begin a project? Is it because we are so smart we are sure we can do everything by jumping in with both feet? I am perplexed and I wish I could find a solution.
